<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film that exhibits retardation excellent in humidity stability and moist heat durability and hardly suffers from whitening. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film includes a cellulose acylate resin having an acyl substitution degree of 2.0-3.0 and a polymer having at least one cyclic structure represented by formula (1) or the like in its side chain, and satisfies 30 nm<Re<100 nm and 80 nm<Rth<300 nm. In the formula, X<SP>1</SP>is CR<SP>1</SP>or a nitrogen atom; Y<SP>1</SP>is a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom or a sulfur atom; L<SP>1</SP>is a single bond or a linking group having a linking chain length of one atom; L<SP>2</SP>is a linking group having a linking chain length of 2-6 atoms; and R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituting group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
