PURPOSE: A reciprocating compressor is provided to reduce friction loss between a cylinder block and a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating compressor comprises an electro motion part, a compression part, a frame(2), a bearing member(100). The rotary shaft is combined in a rotor and rotates together. The compression part converts the rotational motion of the electro motion part into a linear reciprocating motion and compresses refrigerant. The frame is arranged between the electro motion part and compression part, and supports the rotary shaft(14). The bearing member is installed between the rotor(13) and the frame. The bearing member is formed into the ring shape and is inserted into the rotary shaft to a free status.
