<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment for cosmetic, which has both functions of water-repellent or water-repellent and oil-repellent properties and improvement in affinity to organism and skin adhesiveness and a cosmetic containing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pigment for cosmetic is obtained by treating the surface of a pigment with one or more kinds of a polymer compound containing an intercellular lipid component group represented by chemical formula (1) (not shown in the figure), an alkylalkoxysilane represented by chemical formula (2) (not shown in the figure), a perfluoroalkylalkoxysilane represented by chemical formula (3) (not shown in the figure), an alkoxytitanium alkylate represented by chemical formula (4) (not shown in the figure), a perfluoroalkyl phosphate compound represented by chemical formula (5) (not shown in the figure), a polysiloxane compound represented by chemical formula (6) (not shown in the figure) or a polyacrylate copolymer compound represented by chemical formula (7) (not shown in the figure) simultaneously or at two stages by a composite coating treatment.
