<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with a terminal in which contact resistance between the electric wire and terminal fittings is reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Female terminal fittings 12 are equipped with a wire barrel 16 that is caulked to a core wire 13 from a direction intersecting with the axial direction of the electric wire 11, while recesses 18 are formed on a face of the core wire 13 side out of the wire barrel 16. A span size L1 of an inlet lip part 21 of the recess 18 in a direction intersecting with the axial direction of the electric wire 11 in a state before the wire barrel 16 is caulked to the core wire 13 is set at one or more times and three or less times the size of the diameter of an element wire 20 in a state before the wire barrel 16 is caulked to the electric wire 11.
