The invention relates to a method for the simulation of real or virtual environments for use when practising sports on static apparatuses, consisting of: obtaining continuous images at a constant speed or at regular (short) intervals, identifying the position of each of the images such that the sequence of images must be maintained invariable and conditioned to position, e.g. a GPS position; editing the image sequences; and displaying the image sequence to the user on a monitor connected to a static machine used for sports practice, the speed with which the images move or change or the image sequence display being conditioned to the relative virtual movement speed of the static machine used by the user. The invention also includes an apparatus on which the simulation is performed. |
