The present invention concerns an energy absorber for an automobile. More specifically, the objective of the disclosed energy absorber is to improve stability and productivity. Since unit blocks protrude forward and are bonded together, load generation is increased so displacement of the unit blocks caused in a vehicular collision is prevented. The disclosed absorber made of synthetic resin is placed inside the bumper cover so that collision energy can be absorbed. Each unit block (20) in front of the absorber is distanced from other unit blocks (20) and protrudes therefrom together. The present invention is characterized by the unit blocks (20) which are affixed with connectors (30).
