PURPOSE: A curtain airbag device for a vehicle is provided to prevent damage to a cushion by transforming compressed gas flowing in a fill hose in a vortex shape at the deployment of an air bag and reducing overload. CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag device(10) for a vehicle comprises a cushion(50), an inflator(40), a fill hose(20), and a coupling hose(30). The cushion is deployed between a passenger and a door of a vehicle in case inner pressure rises. The inflator supplies compressed gas to the cushion in a crush of the vehicle. The fill hose is connected to the inflator. The fill hose supplies the compressed gas generated by the inflator to the cushion. The coupling hose is installed between the inflator and the fill hose. The coupling hose delivers the gas to the fill hose. The coupling hose comprises a vortex generator(60). The vortex generator generates vortex to the flow of the compressed gas flowing from the inflator. The vortex generator reduces the overload delivered to the cushion. |
