PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to include a double refraction sea island fiber in a light modulation film, thereby improving brightness without forming layers. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a backlight, a light modulation film and an LCD panel. The backlight applies light. The light modulation film is located in an upper end of the backlight. The light modulation film includes a sea island fiber(290). The sea island fiber has double refraction properties within a material(280). The light modulation film modulates light from the backlight. The LCD panel realizes a predetermined image through the modulated light.
