PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control receiver having a wider coverage area while reducing an increase in cost and having the approximately same size as conventional devices. SOLUTION: A digital television 10 has a remote control receiver with a receiver 26 receiving a signal from a remote controller, a display 24 and a frame body 30 housing the display 24. The digital television 10 is composed of a supporting member 37 formed in a columnar shape, fitted on the bottom section of the receiver 26 so that the receiver 26 can be rotated vertically at one end and fitted to a circuit board 35 so as to be horizontally rotated at the other end, a rod-shaped section 32a projected from the front of the receiver 26 and a knob section 32b formed at the front end of the rod-shaped section 32a. The digital television 10 has a lever 32 for manually turning the receiver, an angle detecting means 27 detecting the angle of rotation from the front place of the receiver 26 and a cross-shaped trench 33 formed to the lower section of the front of the frame body 30 and operated with the lever 32 passing therethrough.
