A SOCKET FOR A WEDGE BULB

A socket for a wedge bulb is provided to stably operate a wedge bulb by simply inserting a single ground connection terminal, and firmly fix the wedge bulb in a socket so that the wedge bulb can be stably operated in spite of an external impact or vibration. In order to combine a wedge bulb(10) including two or more connection terminals(121) supplying power and a signal to an outer surface of a lower connection unit(12) of a light emitting unit(11) and two or more ground terminals corresponding to the connection terminals, a connection pin(30) including two or more power supply terminals(31) in contact with the connection terminals of the wedge bulb and a ground connection terminal(32) in contact with the ground terminals is inserted into a lower portion of a socket housing, and a fixing pin(40) allowing a stop protrusion(123) of the wedge bulb to be fixed is inserted into an upper portion of the socket housing. The ground connection terminal is integrally formed such that it simultaneously contacts with the plurality of ground terminals and connected with an external circuit via a single ground line(50).
