Method and device for the quick attachment and detachment of seats in aircraft

The method for the installing and removing of seats in a passenger aircraft by means of a transporting device on wheels is designed entails removing a seat by moving the transporting device into the space between two seat rows disposed one behind the other and brought into engagement with the floor plate of a seat row. The seat backs are hinged as far back as possible and the floor plate with one or more seats mounted on it is raised and tipped into an inclined position in relation to the horizontal, after which the transporting device is moved through the gap between the seat rows. Installation of seats is the same process in reverse. An independent claim is included for a device for the installing and removing of seats in a passenger aircraft.
