The detector has a set of two bolometric sensors that detect an infrared radiation, where the set is in the form of a rectangular matrix. The set comprises a central zone, lateral, left and right zones, and upper and lower peripheral zones, where the central zone is composed of the bolometric sensor (50) having a thermal time constant. The lateral, left and right zones, and upper and lower peripheral zones are composed of the other bolometric sensor having a thermal time constant, which is less than that of the sensor (50). An independent claim is also included for a vehicle driving assistance device comprising an infrared camera with an infrared radiation detector electrically connected to a display that reproduces a scene which is observed by the detector. |
