In a process to form drinks cartons, the laminated carton mantle (3) material is folded to form a hose (4) that is transferred to a feed station (9) for application of a dispensing pourer (5). The feed station (9) moves sideways and is placed under the hose (4), which is then lowered around the feed station. The carton hose is perforated by sideways presentation of a punch (6) and a slide (8) with a welding tool. The hose (4) is raised until the punched holes are in line with the feed unit (9) and dispenser (5). The dispenser (5) is presented by repeat movement of the welding tool and transfer of a the dispenser (5) with tube (4) to a pin wheel (2). Also claimed is a commensurate assembly. |
