PURPOSE: A column ornament and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve endurance and appearance of a column by attaching the ornament of various textures to the outer surface of the column. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a column ornament comprises steps of: making a wooden form covering a column(S10), attaching clay to the surface of the wooden form to create textures(S20), completing a circular mold by applying and drying a release agent(S30), installing a split ball(S40), forming a silicone mold by applying and curing silicone repetitively and putting over reinforcing cloth(S50), removing the silicon mold from the circular mold(S60), forming an ornament by applying a release agent on the inner surface of the silicone mold and laminating a resin layer and a glass fiber layer and then curing the ornament(S70), removing the cured ornament from the silicone mold(S80), and painting the ornament surface(S90). |
