PURPOSE: An energy absorber for a vehicle is provided to prevent a block body from falling down in a rear-end collision and improve rigidity of unit blocks. CONSTITUTION: An energy absorber(10) for a vehicle is embedded inside a bumper cover to absorb energy in a rear-end collision. The energy absorber for vehicle comprises unit blocks(20) of plastic material. The unit block body is protruded from the front of the energy absorber at constant intervals. The unit blocks are consecutively connected by slender waist-shaped connecting portions(30). A step is formed on the end of the unit block.
