PURPOSE: An additive capable of preventing catalyst deactivation by coke formation during catalytic hydrocarbon reforming is provided to increase high efficiency by preventing the catalyst deactivation and to oxidize carbon and monoxide efficiently. CONSTITUTION: An additive capable of preventing catalyst deactivation by coke formation during catalytic hydrocarbon reforming has MxTiyOz structure. M is an alkali metal. m is a compound of the alkaline metal. The compound is K2Ti2O5, K2Ti4O9, K2Ti6O13, K4TiO4 or K6Ti4O11, K2TiO3 or K3Ti8O17. The compound of 0.1-20 weight% is included in a hydrocarbon reforming catalyst. |
