The device (1) has a battery (20) for storing electric energy, and an inverter (10) for controlling energy flow between distribution and storage resources. A driving body is provided for driving the inverter, where the battery is a part of a vehicle. A steering control (50) is arranged for controlling the inverter based on the relative energy distribution load. An independent claim is also included for a method for direct coupling with a low voltage electrical power distribution.
