PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can prevent an insulation sheet from intruding into the gap between mating faces of a case and a cover in a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A secondary battery has a case 4 having an opening in the upper surface thereof, a cover 5 blocking the opening, an electrode body 2 mounted in the case 4, and an insulation sheet 30. The insulation sheet 30 is disposed between the electrode body 2 and the inner surface 4b of the case 4. A projection 14 is provided at the upper end of the inner surface 4b of the case 4 and below the cover 5. The upper end of the insulation sheet 30 is curved to the inside of the case 4 along the projection 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
