<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safety equipment for fall-prevention of an opening of a manhole during execution of work which can be easily attached to and detached from a manhole lid, which can be easily transported and stored, and which can be installed in agreement with the size of the manhole lid under a small influence of a strong wind. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The safety equipment for fall-prevention of the opening of the manhole during execution of work includes a cylindrical central object 2, an opening adjusting ring 3, a tubular radiator 4, and a tubular support 5. The cylindrical central object 2 has a cylindrical-part through-hole 6 in the axial direction, and the opening adjusting ring 3 can move freely in the axial direction of the cylindrical central object 2. The tubular radiator 4 is connected to the manhole-opening 9 side of the cylindrical central object 2 through the medium of a first pin 12, and is arranged at a mutually nearly equal angle on the conical surface. One end of the tubular support 5 is connected to the opening adjusting ring 3 through the medium of a second pin 13, and the other end is connected to an intermediate section 20 of each of the tubular radiators 4 through the medium of a third pin 14. The opening adjusting ring 3 is engaged on the cylindrical central object 2 by making a through pin 8 penetrate the cylindrical-part through-hole 6 in agreement with the diameter of the manhole lid 10, and the tubular radiators 4 can be supported by the manhole-installation frame 11 of the manhole opening 9.
