<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform shower-rinse by circulating water with a circulation pump without causing the air in a water tank to enter, so that high-speed dehydration is smoothly performed in that state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A drum 5 is provided in a water tank 2 equipped with a water outlet 2a, a circulation channel 15 for returning water taken out from the water tank 2 through the water outlet 2a to the water tank 2 is provided. A circulation pump 14 is provided in a middle part of the circulation channel 15. Moreover, a control unit, not shown in the figure, is provided. The control unit controls so that the control unit rotates the drum 5 at low speed by which the laundry sticks to the drum 5 in the rinsing step, supplies water up to an initial supply water level A preset in the water tank 2, discharges the water into the water tank 2 through the water outlet 2a and the circulation channel 15 by a pumping effect of the circulation pump 14, and a high-speed dehydration step is performed when the water level in the water tank 2 lowers to a preset lower limit water level B.
