<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature unevenness of a heat roller due to short circuit current by suppressing the short circuit current generated in the heat roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of excitation coils 32a and 32b which are arranged in an axial direction of the heat roller are provided in an induction heating unit which is stored in the heat roller for heating the heat roller by electromagnetic induction effect. In this case, the excitation coils are formed so that a conductor 62 is turned in the direction approximately along an inner periphery surface of the heat roller at a pair of turning sections 63 and 64 that are separated in the periphery direction of the heat roller, and wound around so that the conductor reciprocates in the periphery direction of the heat roller between the pair of turning sections.
