PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, smoothly retrieve service information, which a user wants to acquire, from a prescribed group of information, from which the retrieval is made, without selecting a retrieval method. SOLUTION: A device 10 includes: a character string information receiving part 11 which receives a character string for retrieving service information; a first retrieval part 12 which identifies attribute retrieval information which conforms to the attribute of the character string; a second retrieval part 13 which identifies the service information on the basis of the attribute retrieval information and extracts it; and a service information outputting part 14 which outputs the extracted service information. The device 10 is additionally provided with a preliminary retrieval part 15 which identifies at least one retrieval kind with preliminarily determined attribute which is different from an identified attribute retrieval kind with determined attribute, after the attribute retrieval information is identified by the first retrieval part, determines the attribute of the character string according to the attribute retrieval kind with preliminarily determined attribute, identifies preliminary attribute retrieval information which conforms to this attribute, and identifies preliminary service information on the basis of the identified preliminary attribute retrieval information, and then extracts it.
