A pocket-sized container (100) for consumer items comprises a cylindrical base (10), a cylindrical lid (20) and a window (30). The cylindrical base (10) includes a bottom sidewall (12) and a bottom wall (14). The bottom sidewall (12) includes a recessed surface (16) at an upper portion thereof. The cylindrical lid (20) includes a top sidewall (24) and a top wall (22). An inner surface (26) of the top sidewall (24) slidingly engages the recessed surface (16) of the bottom sidewall (12) so as to close the container (100) with the outer surface of the bottom sidewall (12) flush with the outer surface of the top sidewall (24). The lid (20) includes an opening (28) in the top wall (22) and a window (30) fits inside the lid (20) such that a domed portion (34) of the window (30) extends into the opening (28). The pocket-sized container (100) can hold both tobacco products and non-tobacco products, including orally consumable pouches such as snus.
