<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking structure of a vehicular seat capable of projecting/retracting an engagement member for engaging and locking a seat body to a counter side structure in the counter side structure in a balanced manner by the advancing/retracting operation of the seat body to/from the counter side structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The posture of a striker S2 to be engaged with and locked to a back locking device provided on a seat body 1 is changed from the retracted posture to the projected posture according to the approaching movement of the seat body 1. The change to the projected posture is completed in the middle of the movement before the seat body 1 reaches the locking position to be engaged with and locked to the striker S2. In a moving area in which the subsequent approaching movement is advanced, the operational movement of a changing mechanism 30 according to the movement of the seat body 1 is released, and the striker S2 is maintained in a state of the projected posture.
