PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-quality secondary battery in consideration of fluctuated quality caused by use locations of an electrode material.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a secondary battery includes a position information acquisition step of acquiring identification information of the electrode material used for assembly and a position of a use-planned section in the electrode material used for assembly, a quality information acquisition step of acquiring quality information at the use-planned section in the electrode material on the basis of the acquired identification information and the position, and a use section determination step of determining a section practically used for assembly as the electrode material on the basis of the acquired quality information.
