<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus reducing radiation noise by using clock signals output from SSCG for an acting clock signal of a control circuit for executing a registration correction process and at the same time securing high correction accuracy in the registration correcting process. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is composed so as to correct calculation results for a detection interval by: counting the number of clock signals which are output from a spread clock signal output means such as the SSCG between a counting start instruction (S2) and a counting finish instruction (S4) which are output at prescribed intervals which are fixed before hand (S7); correcting a calculation standard frequency used for calculation of the detection interval for each respective patch image in a registration correction process based on the count value (S9); and then calculating the detection interval for each respective patch image by using the calculation standard frequency after correction in the registration correction process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
