PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a resin composition for formation of a clad layer excellent in bending resistance and twist resistance; a resin film for formation of a clad layer; and an optical waveguide and an optical module manufactured using them. SOLUTION: The resin composition for formation of a clad layer of an optical waveguide contains (A) diene synthetic rubber, (B) a (meth)acrylate and (C) a radical polymerization initiator.
