PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove electromagnetic noise from another apparatus such as an electrocautery from reception signals in ultrasonic diagnosing. SOLUTION: A probe 10 is provided with a dummy signal line 14 and a capacitor 18 as a dummy vibration element. A noise cancellation control part 44 generates gate signals 102 indicating an electromagnetic noise generation period on the basis of cardiographic signals 100. Noise cancellation processing is performed in the noise generation period indicated by the gate signals 102. To put it concretely, signals from the dummy signal line 14 are utilized as cancellation signals 106 and the cancellation signals 106 are subtracted from reception signals in respective differential amplifiers 26.
