<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health promotion device capable of exhibiting a health promotion effect by applying an optimum quantity of radiation to a user and allowing the user to easily inhale radon gas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The health promotion device emits a small quantity of radiation from radioactive tiles laid inside a capsule body. The radioactive tiles are arranged on the right and left inner wall surfaces of the capsule body, and the radiation is applied to the user thoroughly and by an appropriate quantity. The user inhales the radon gas generated in the process of degradation of natural uranium included in the radioactive tiles from a respirator. With this structure, the radiation hormesis effect can be sufficiently exhibited, and the health promotion effect can be expected.
