<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device and a fuel injection control method capable of improving fuel economy, and capable of restraining the deterioration in emission, while securing startability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ECU 7 executes fuel injection control by PFI21 for injecting fuel into an intake passage 5 of an internal combustion engine 1-1 and DI22 for injecting the fuel into a fuel chamber A of an internal combustion engine 1-2. The ECU 7 has a fuel injection quantity setting part 74 for setting a fuel injection quantity Q per one cycle of the internal combustion engine 1-1, and executes starting time cylinder injection control for supplying the fuel of the set fuel injection quantity Q to the internal combustion engine 1-1 by injection by only the DI22 in a compression stroke of the internal combustion engine 1-1 just after starting the internal combustion engine 1-1, and executes starting time divided injection control for supplying the fuel of the set fuel injection quantity Q to the internal combustion engine 1-1 by injection by the PFI21 in an intake stroke of the internal combustion engine 1-1 and the injection by the DI22 in the compression stroke after the starting time cylinder injection control.
