PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device which enables a door panel to be adjusted in terms of position in a direction orthogonal to the direction of guidance by a guide rail and held in a stable state in a post-adjustment position. SOLUTION: This guide device includes: a case body 7 which is fixed to the door panel; a guide shaft holding body 8 which is provided in the case body 7 in such a manner as to be slidable in the thickness direction of the door panel; and an adjusting mechanism 9 for adjusting a position of the guide shaft 4 by sliding the guide shaft holding body 8. The adjusting mechanism 9 is provided with an operation element 22 which is provided in an exposed state on the butt end surface of the door panel 2, a first rack which is formed in the case body 7, and a second rack 24 which is formed in the guide shaft holding body. The guide shaft holding body 8 is slid by operating the operation element 22. Thus, a position to mesh the first rack and the second racks 24 with each other is changed in a phased manner, and the guide shaft holding body 8 is held in the position.
