ELECTROSTATIC WATER-REPELLENT FABRIC AND CLOTHES

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic water-repellent fabric having excellent electrostaticity and water repellency, and to provide clothes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic water-repellent fabric is obtained by subjecting a fabric including electrostatic yarns to water-repellent finishing. The electrostatic yarn includes an electrostatic polyester fiber satisfying all of the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the polyester fiber includes 3-10 wt.% polyether-ester-amide electrostatic agent based on the weight of the polyester; (2) the average particle diameter D of the polyether-ester-amide electrostatic agent in the cross section orthogonal to the fiber axis of the electrostatic polyester fiber is 10-40 nm; and (3) the ratio L/D of the average length L of the polyether-ester-amide electrostatic agent in the fiber axis direction in the cross section parallel to the fiber axis direction of the electrostatic polyester fiber to the D is ≥100.
