<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an object of image recognition is not correctly imaged with a high possibility since an imaging element and a lens have a relative position shift caused by thermal stress due to differences in coefficient of linear expansion between a structure member abutting against the imaging element and an adhesive, and between the adhesive and imaging element, stress by vibration, adhesion peeling etc., due to deterioration in the adhesive in a use environment of an image processing apparatus wherein temperature variation and vibration are caused. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a camera device including an imaging element and a support member, the support member has a recess inside, and the imaging element is pressed by one member against a first surface which is orthogonal to a light acceptance surface of the imaging element and a second surface which is orthogonal to the light acceptance surface and first surface in the recess.
