PURPOSE: A light information writing apparatus and a method thereof capable of correcting a writing parameter in a short time are provided to improve the accuracy of writing quality and expend the writing strategy parameter. CONSTITUTION: A light information writing apparatus and a method thereof capable of correcting a writing parameter in a short time include a reproduction signal generation unit, a clock generation unit, a detection unit(5), an operation unit and a correction unit(9). The reproduction signal generation unit generates reproduction signal according to a mark and a space. The clock generation unit generates the clock based on the generation signal. The detection unit detects the variation of the clock generated from the clock generation unit.
