<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly transfer a digital baseband signal without contact, in spite of a short distance, while utilizing a pulse signal containing a wide-band frequency component. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Two slot antennas are proximately placed while facing each other, and nearby electric field and nearby magnetic field components of a TE<SB>10</SB>wave advancing along a slot transmission line of a transmission antenna are coupled directly to a slot transmission line of a receiving antenna. A slot line length between two feeding points, of an annular slot is approximately equal in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions and plays a role equal for signal transmission between the transmission and receiving antennas. Impedance matching is performed on a connection of a slot transmission line and a microstrip line via a through-hole, and reflection there is reduced. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
