The hand-held shower head comprises a shower head (2, 53) on a handle (3, 52) and a valve, which can be actuated by rotating the shower head (2, 53). The shower head (2, 53) has outlet openings (25, 26), through which water can exit in a defined direction with respect to the handle (3, 52), and the flow direction of the water in the handle (3, 52) is different from the flow direction in the shower head (2, 53). In order to actuate the valve, the shower head (2, 53) can be rotated about an axis, which runs substantially parallel to the above-mentioned defined direction. |
