Aspheric optical lens (L1) comprises a front surface (V1) with x-components continuously changing in the x-direction and a rear surface (R1) with y-components likewise changing in the x-direction. Either the front surface is curved in a concave manner in the x-direction and the rear surface is likewise curved in a concave manner in the y-direction or the front surface is curved in a convex manner in the x-direction and the rear surface is likewise curved in a convex manner in the y-direction. An independent claim is also included for a pair of spectacles with lenses made from the above lens. Preferred Features: The lens is a spectacle lens or art of a spectacle lens.
