<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data distribution device for, when data distribution to a distribution destination folder is impossible, displaying an error message showing the factor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This data distribution device for distributing data to one or more distribution destination folders installed in external equipment is provided with: a storage part for storing information related with one or more data reception restrictions added to each distribution destination folder; a decision part for deciding the possibility/impossibility of data distribution by confirming whether or not the current data distribution setting clears all the data reception restrictions about each of the distribution destination folders (S101); and a display part for displaying the distribution possibility/impossibility information showing the decision result of the data distribution possibility/impossibility and a message showing that the data reception restriction is not cleared when there exists the data reception restriction which is not cleared by the data distribution setting about each distribution destination folder (S102).
