<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil device that holds a magnetic core of various sizes on a pedestal of one kind, is excellent in easiness of a heat dissipation effect and detachable operation of a magnetic core, and can exactly prevent the displacement of a mounting dimension. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A core assembly includes a pedestal 1, a ring-shaped magnetic core 3, and a fixture 5. The pedestal has a mounting portion 11, legs 13, 14, and bridge portions 211a, 211b. The mounting portion is recessed and has two slope 111, 112. The slopes are opened at a predetermined angle. A pair of leg extend from both edge of the mounting portion downward. The bridge portions bridges a pair of legs. The ring-shaped magnetic core has a curved surface at least on a part of the surrounding, and part of the curved surface contacts with the slope, being mounted on the mounting portion and has a clearance between two contact portions, and between the mounting portion and curved surface.
