<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire that enables the reduction in rolling resistance during running by reducing the hysteresis loss with increasing the elastic modulus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire is characterized in that silica is blended in an amount of 10-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. rubber component consisting of 60-95 wt.% diene-based rubber and 5-40 wt.% thermoplastic polyester elastomer and additionally a silane coupling agent is blended in an amount of 6-10 wt.% based on the blending amount of silica.
