PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-vehicle digital broadcast receiver" for securing an opportunity to view a digital broadcast in a hierarchy with excellent image quality and sound quality by evading the interruption feeling of video and sound when switching the video/sound output of a digital broadcast of one hierarchy and the video/sound output of a digital broadcast of another hierarchy. SOLUTION: It is predicted that a self vehicle will pass a place once have passed or its vicinity by using the record of travelling loci of the self vehicle by a travelling locus recording means 38 and the record of switchover spots by a switchover spot recording means 40, and the switchover between the selection of the first hierarchy and the selection of the second hierarchy is also supposed to be performed by frequency equal to or more than a prescribed frequency.
