<p>In order to receive an image file by a recorder, a user conventionally should explicitly switch the system state to a state for data reception such as an operation for starting communication software and an operation for temporarily switching to a wait screen which can perform a file reception process. In order to solve the aforementioned problem, it is possible to provide an electronic device which identifies the attribute of a received file and a process being executed and performs a process in accordance with them. For this, it is possible to automatically perform an operation based on not only the file type but also the program being executed by the electronic device. Thus, it is possible to execute a desired process without requiring a complicated operation by the user.</p> |
