<p>A cryogenically-cooled HTS wire includes a stabilizer having a total thickness in a range of 200-600 micrometers and a resistivity in a range of 0.8-15.0 microOhm cm at approximately 90 K. A first HTS layer is thermally-coupled to at least a portion of the stabilizer.</p>
