PURPOSE: An access control unit is provided to strengthen security to prevent the loss of user information by completely blocking the access control unit with a case, and eliminating connections between the access control unit and external computers. CONSTITUTION: A CPU board, intermediate board, and touch panel board are installed inside of a case(500). The disclosed access control unit has strengthened security by isolating the system without connecting to an external device. A manager is able to open the cover(510) of the case to update user information. A sensor is installed in the case to detect opening or closing of the case cover. A camera(420) starts to operate when the sensor detects opening of the case cover and the camera stops its operation when the case cover is closed.
