AN AUTOMATIC DECONTAMINATION EQUIPMENT FOR LEAD BLANKET OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

PURPOSE: An apparatus for decontaminating radioactive pollution metal waste is provided to improve operation efficiency by rapidly treating a decontaminated waste and a second radioactive material generated in a decontaminating process. CONSTITUTION: A metal decontaminating unit includes a collection tank(31), a supporting plate(32), a supporting frame(33), a plurality of nozzles(34), a curtain(35), and a door(36). The collection tank collects and stores a sprayed dry ice pellet. The supporting plate has a network shape in which the dry ice pellet is passed. The supporting plate is laminated on a top surface of the collection tank in order to support a metal waste to be decontaminated. The supporting frame is fixed according to a top end part of the collection tank. The nozzles are formed in the supporting frame in order to spray the dry ice pellet. The curtain covers an outer side of the supporting frame.
