IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMATION CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a correction amount when correcting the relative position between a print medium and an image on the relative medium toward a direction perpendicular to a conveying direction which is a direction on the print medium for conveying the print medium to a printing position.

SOLUTION: A resist roller 26 is moved in the direction which is the direction on a form and nearly perpendicular to the conveying direction of the form by a side shift mechanism, and then the alignment in the main scan direction is corrected. The position of image is moved in the direction which is the direction on the form nearly perpendicular to the conveying direction of the form by delaying or bringing forward the timing of an optical writing to a photosensitive material drum 4 by an exposure system 5, and then alignment in the main scan direction is corrected. The correction is performed at once by the same image formation.
