<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and highly accurately generate a color mapping LUT for classifying images by a reference close to the color feeling of a human. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The table data generator includes; a representative color acquisition means for acquiring the representative color of an image group from the image group for which images whose main color is one of selected colors selected for image classification beforehand are gathered; a histogram generation means for generating a color space histogram on the basis of the calculated representative color; a space value acquisition means for acquiring a color space value in the selected color from the color space histogram; and a table generation means for generating table data for the image classification using the color space value. It is preferable that the representative color acquisition means calculates the representative color from the respective images of the image group and defines the representative color of the calculated respective images as the representative color of the image group.
