PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact arm assembly including parallel plates and a plurality of finger assembly. SOLUTION: This contact arm assembly 200 includes a plurality of substantially parallel plates 230 having spaces between them and a plurality of finger assemblies 201-204. At least one of the plurality of finger assemblies 201-204 is pivotally attached to the plurality of substantially parallel plates 230 and arranged in the space(s) between the plurality of substantially parallel plates 230, and each of the plurality of finger assemblies has a body and an arc runner fixed to the body in at least two locations.
