<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser hardening tool which is dismountably mounted on a tool holding portion of a machine tool. <P>SOLUTION: The laser hardening tool is composed of an engaging portion (101) which can be engaged with the tool holding portion (not shown in the figure) of the machine tool, a waveguide passage (102) which serves as a passage of the supplied laser beam, and a torch portion (103) for irradiating a workpiece with the laser beam passed through the waveguide passage. The waveguide passage (102) is a hollow passage formed inside a prescribed member (104), wherein a reflection treatment is applied to the inner face of the passage and a laser beam is passed through the hollow passage (102) while being reflected on the inner face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
