COAXIAL CONNECTOR AND PACKAGE FOR STORING SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE USING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector having a high wettability of brazing filler metal (solder) without deteriorating the corrosion-prevention effect and the contact reliability even when the coaxial cable is repeatedly attached to/detached from the coaxial connector. SOLUTION: The coaxial connector comprises: a cylindrical insulator 2; a center conductor 3 inserted through the axial center of the insulator 2; a housing for covering the side surface of the insulator 2 and housing one end part 3a of the center conductor 3 derived from an end face 2a of the insulator 2; and a plating film consisting of a plurality of layers covering the exposed part of the center conductor 3. The plating film covering one end part 3a of the center conductor 3 has a hard Au plating layer 5 with Au content lower than 99.9%. The plating film covering the other end part 3b of the center conductor 3 has a soft Au plating layer 6 with Au content more than 99.9% in the top layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
